Jump Start Plugs

JUMP START PLUGS ...

And the question of the other half!! (by George)

Amongst the thousands of questions we get from customers, a very common one goes something like - “I need both halves of a jump start plug, but I can only find the female half on your website - where's the male half?”

If I had a pound for every time this query was raised, I would be writing this from my yacht in the Bahamas, rather than from my desk on a drizzly April day at Castle Combe Circuit!

The answer is - that jump start plugs are neither male nor female. Both halves are exactly the same. All that happens is one half is rotated through 180 degrees. The two halves can then be slotted together in order to make contact, as pictured here.

Go to - JUMP START PLUGS & ACCESSORIES

We price the jump start plugs individually rather than in pairs. So remember to order a quantity of 2 if you are needing to make a complete connection.

We also stock accessories such as dust covers and the very useful handles, which really help when disconnecting the plugs in haste.
